When recovering from an injury, surgery, or both, there may be times when you need a fresh perspective and, perhaps, some extra encouragement along the way. That’s when you need someone who really understands, a renewed sense of motivation, and maybe a guiding nudge in the right direction. It also helps to have some specific effective wellness strategies.
While the people in our lives want to help, they don’t always know how. And often we don’t even know what to ask for. Because I’ve been through this experience myself, I know what it’s like to feel frustrated and alone even when surrounded by loved ones and expert medical professionals.
